Our team was formed in 2002 & we are based in the Dundee area. Our captain & trainer is Alan Wood who has been involved with training & competing in flyball for over 20 years. Flyball is a fast & furious dog sport and although the majority of dogs that take part in flyball are Border Collies/Working Sheepdogs, we encourage owners of other breeds to take part in the sport.
Our training sessions take place at Charles Bowman Avenue in Dundee on Sunday mornings all year round, and Thursday evenings (for advanced dogs) during the summer months. We are a friendly group of people of various ages who love flyball.
We have 4 BFA (British Flyball Assoc.) teams that compete under the names of:
- Tayside Roadrunners
- Tayside Roadracers
- Tayside Roadrascals
- Tayside Wile Coyotes
We travel all over the country competing at flyball, and also host our own BFA show in August at Camperdown Country Park, Dundee. |
